Once you reach Trellech (if you are coming from Chepstow), pass the church on left and then The Lion pub on right.
After a sharp S bend, take the first left signposted Cwmcarvan.
The farm is 3 miles from here.
If you are coming from Monmouth, you will turn right after passing Trellech School and going through the single file traffic system, you will see a lane on your right hand side signposted Cwmcarvan.
Keep on this road- do not turn right to Cwmcarvan - and you will come to a sharp left-hand bend with a stunning view of mountains in front and ‘no through road’ straight ahead.
Directions
Stay on the road, bearing left down hill, and pass a white cottage on left.
Take the first lane on the left after the cottage. There is another house at the end of the lane on your left hand side as you enter the lane with gates.
The lane has no name, but there is a yellow salt binon the corner. You have about 1.2miles to go. Passing big farm Lorries at Merlin’s.
Blue Door and a signpost to Bethel Chapel on right.
Then down a steep hill pass Far Hill Flowers, Elm Farm on right hand side.
Ignore a sign that says ‘unsuitable for motor vehicles’ and keep going through a gate and over a stream.You will reach a gate that says ‘Llwyna Farm, no through road’.
Open the gate and follow the farm track right uphill. It is a farm track with dogs and horses roaming so please drive carefully as you may meet an exuberant friendly Bugsy the lurcher.
You will emerge by the stable yard and farmhouse.
Please park by the wooden railings where you will see a car parking sign.
You have reached Llwyna Farm for peace and wildness with the herd.
