Supervision Groups
for Therapists
As well as a personal development group, I run four supervision groups, each for six qualified therapists,
who have a commitment to their personal development.
These groups explore our interconnectedness with the natural world, with the horses awakening us to our sixth sense: our intuitive,
embodied, animal self.
Seasonal Meetings
These groups meet seasonally four times per year; we work with the rhythms of nature and the teachings and changes each season brings.
A Time for Nurture
It is a time for nurture, reflection, and connecting with the wild land and diverse species at Llwyna Farm; a time to dive within and explore your inner landscape, while guided by the wisdom of the herd.

“After more than five years with the supervision group, I have learnt about just being with others; horses, dogs, cats, mother nature, supervisees, clients. I've reflected on the balance of power in relationships, guided by Miranda when working with the herd. I've become so much more aware of the nuances of leadership, assertiveness, love, submission, wildness ...... watching the horses 'interactions with each other, and myself and the group. Sensed my own responses to individuals - horse or human - or my part in a particular group dynamic...relating this to my therapeutic practice; or bringing the client to the herd and the group for exploration. Grounding myself again in the rhythms of an open and ancient landscape with such a knowledgeable guide in Miranda holding the space, so I can explore, rest and take nourishment.”

This group is for therapists who prefer the time and space to work on themselves. Meeting three times a year, in spring, summer and autumn.
Morning Session: Start at 10am around a fire to connect with the land and each other. Venture with the herd, tuning into our bodies, emotions, and intentions, observing horse dynamics and their reflections.
Afternoon Activities: Engage in individual work with horses, create with clay and mud, move and dance with the herd, and explore touch and relationships. Finishes at 5pm.
Bring your own picnic. Hot drinks, biscuits, and fruit provided in the cowshed cafe. The group is supported by my long-time workshop supporter and friend, Kate Edser – an experienced horsewoman – allowing the group to maximise time with the herd.
Join us for connection, creativity, and growth.
£150 per session
“The herd are calling two therapists to come and wake up to this magical earth.
They will show you how to listen to your bodies, to tap into your intuition and feel into your animal selves and bring your inner essence to the group.
You will have the opportunity to observe, move, create, dance, touch and play with the horses.
We will work with the seasons and explore your interconnection with all beings so that you feel in your body and soul that you belong to a herd.”
- Miranda Carey
“I feel very fortunate to share in these days. When I reflected
on the day last night - Vodka and his pear, the various disturbances
in the woods, the hornets, the wild pigs, Bugsy and his endless shenanigans,
let alone all of our individual human struggles, observations and encounters,
with each other and the herd - it is a place of awe and wonder for me.”
